Naturalization

Naturalization is the process that allows you to become a U.S. Citizen. You may qualify if:

  • You have been a permanent resident for 5 years.

  • Your spouse is a citizen or permanent resident and you have been a permanent resident for 3 years.

  • You have qualifying service in the U.S. armed forces

  • Your child may qualify for naturalization if you are a U.S. citizen and your child was born abroad.
